Dear Little Green Bug,
You showed up on my window today.
My dirty, dirty window.
Perhaps you’re a cleaning bug?
Like the fish who eat algae?
That would be quite useful.
Not that I’d use you for my own selfish needs.
Our relationship would be purely symbiotic.
Assuming you enjoy modeling and hearing about musical theatre.
I wish my colors were that bright,
Megan

Seriously. What is that thing? If you find it does indeed clean your windows, please send him to Arizona!
This comment is not completely related to this post (although I will say that bug made me go ew), but more to your blog in general. Did you see the black fawn pictures on cuteoverload yesterday? They made me think of you and your many photographs of woodland creatures. Which seems weird since I don’t actually know you. But sorta do since I read your blog.
I so hope that that bug was on the outside of your window.
You sure have a knack for making the creepy seem cute Megan. I’d love to see what you could do with a photo series on stalkers.
If you get a cleaning bug before I get a house elf, I am going to be SO resentful!
A cleaning bug would be so cool! No more paying window cleaners!
I think the bathroom I just painted was that color of green.
What a pretty bug! I love how he so closely resembles a leaf.
And what do you mean “dirty window”? That’s how windows are supposed to look, no?
It’s a GLUG!
i’m glad you two share a bond, but i just don’t like things like that.
It looks like a leeeeaaaafffff.
Oh, nature! You never cease to amaze me!
Same with you, Megan. Just sayin’
For a second I paused, thinking “Oh my goodness – was it a leaf? I bet I looked like an idiot.”
Then I realized it definitely wasn’t a leaf.
Then I left this reply to your comment.
‘Cause I guess I’m determined to look like an idiot, one way or another.
That is one cool bug!! He looks just like a leaf! We saw some bugs at the Natural History Museum last week that looked like leaves. I almost couldn’t see them at all!
By the way…your colors are that bright and they brighten up the blogosphere with your presence!!
