In 3 days, Sharon and Dan shall marry.
They’ll stand before their family and friends.
They’ll stand before God.
And most importantly, they’ll stand before me.
There they shall pledge their love.
Dan’s dad will ask them to say “I do.”
Assuming people still say “I do.”
It might have changed to something like “yup” or “10-4″ – I haven’t been to a wedding in a year.
Sharon will no longer be one.
But half of a pair.
Brace yourself,
Megan

Are YOU going to make it through? Can’t wait to see your dress. Still can’t believe you made it.
I love how the list goes, family, friends, God then you. Funny.
I am totally loving your wedding posts. It’s so sweet to see a marriage from a friend’s perspective.
And I wish my husband and I had said 10-4. That would have been awesome.
Nothing compares to the love of a couple uniting, and a future the two will experience together.
I just saw the “Sharon’s Wedding Story” link. I love how you’ve documented the whole thing!
Congrats, best wishes, and Godspeed!
I wonder if the priest will let T and I say 10-4. That would be awesome.
I am realizing we have a wedding the same day.
Just stopping by from another site (Finslippy, I think). I love all things awkward and awesome, so I’m so appreciative of your blog! Great photos!
I think Dan should shrug and say “Eh, why not?”
Somebody should do that anyway. That would make me laugh.
I think instead of “I do”, they just say “Affirmative”. But in a robot voice (I just listened to the “Robots” song by Flight of the Conchords, so now it’s stuck in my head).
I think they should say:
“Dude. Of course I do.”
or
“OMG. Duh. That’s why we are here??”
Such a cute post. And so neat to see it from your point of view.
