It’s All Starting to Make Sense

April 3, 2009

The Baptist church I drive by on my way to work has a new sign out front.

The Easter Bunny didn’t rise from the dead.

Now, maybe they were trying to make a point about the real meaning of Easter.

But then I started thinking.

According to Wikipedia, many eastern Christians to this day typically dye their Easter eggs red, the color of blood.

Now think about that for a moment.

Who likes blood?

Well, vampires, but that’s another post.

Once again consulting Wikipedia – as much research effort as I’m willing to put into my theory – the Easter Bunny is an anthropomorphic rabbit while Zombies are reanimated human corpses.

So both the Easter Bunny and Zombies are creatures given inexplicable life who are incapable of communication and show no signs of personality or rationality.

Coincidence? I think not.
