A couple that radiates love. A couple that just looking at them you can tell how deeply they care for each other.
One’s the peanut butter to the other one’s banana. The highlighter to the other one’s textbook. The jazz hands to the other spouse’s Fosse routine.
Being around such a couple makes you believe in true love.
Of the many couples at Sharon and Dan’s wedding, one pair stood out amongst the rest.
Dan’s grandparents.
About to start the wedding rehearsal, I look over to a lounge chair by the pool and Dan’s grandmother has laid down on her husband’s lap.
Given that I hadn’t even been introduced yet, my frantic photo snapping of them could have been taken as rude. But Dan’s grandfather just looked over with the smile I would come to see quite often in the next two days and hugged his wife closer.
I hope Sharon and Dan become just like them.
It’s the kindness in the eyes that draws me in,
Megan

Sweet, sweet, sweet! Thanks for sharing this one…makes me kind of look forward to getting older with my husband
Aw!!! Don’t we all hope for that kind of lasting love!
Usually I’m laughing my head off over here but not today. Today I’m a bit choked up, the adoration in his eyes is extremely touching. Wait, there is “jazz hands to the other spouse’s Fosse routine” to remind me where I am.
I was so glad we got to meet them. I hope we are ALL so lucky as to grow old like them!
Awwwhh. So sweet!
Everton Terrace said it best… thank you so much for sharing these pictures.
Thanks for your comment on my blog! Please feel free to steal the idea! ; )
Your blog is awesome. I just read the ‘highschool dork’ entry and lol (I’ve never really used that but I make the smile and wink way too much, as seen above). I love this post as well. They look so content and blissful. It’s lovely.
Nice to meet you!
Jessa xx
It’s so awesome to see such genuine feelings between two people.
This pair does indeed have a glow about them!
That. Is. Fabulous.
When I put up my post today I KNEW you’d come up with a twisted question but I was predicting something to do with ground hogs. The mudslide angle was very creative and totally out of left field. Good job.
That is so adorable! Did you happen to ask them their secret? If so…do share…
I’d love to grow up to be just like them! What a sweet couple!
love that photo of them in the lounge chair
SO sweet! I wish my husband looked at me that way, and we’re only 5 years in. I watched my grandparents feed each other cake on their 60th (yep – 60) wedding anniversary last year. That kind of love. 60 + years of love. Absolutely beautiful.
That is the sweetest thing ever! I love seeing couples still in love even after all those years!
that is soooo cool! i’ve never seen old people be like that!
and i’m in LOVE with the jazz hands-Fosse pairing!
Absolutely beautiful!!
Megan
I hope I find a new love soon, so one day it’ll be an old love.
Hi there. I’m Sharon’s cousin-in-law, which means that this is my Nana and Papa too and I’m glad you think they are as great as I think they are. And I love these pictures. Thanks for sharing them!
You’re welcome – and your Nana and Papa are great, I’m so glad I got to meet them!
