Waiting in line at the light this morning, I notice a pick-up truck on the side of the line. Since I turn onto the highway from a shopping center this occurs pretty frequently, as people come over from the side road or getting gas but need to leave at the light to go west. And today I thought – I’m going to be a good, friendly driver today, I’m going to let that truck go in front of me! And when the light turned green and all the other cars drove right past, I stopped and gestured for the truck to mosey in.
It only took me twenty seconds and a honk from the person behind me to realize the truck was empty and parked there.
